Offer: Custom Carbon Steel Retaining Ring Earrings

Item Name & Description: Custom Carbon Steel Retaining Ring Earrings (with accompanying story fragment)

Wraptillion stepped inside the Mechanical Menagerie and sucked in her breath. Such incredible beauty all around her -- the clicking steel butterflies flitting from metal vine to flower, the skeletal fish swimming through some sort of lubricating oils in the pond, even the dangling fir cones and the maple seeds spinning lazily through the air were polished, gleaming metal. Carefully brushing aside the fern fronds so as not to dent their intricate edges, she sat on an iron bench and began to take notes for a retreat of her own, as the whirring of the bronze cicadas filled the air...

One pair of custom earrings made from matte black carbon steel retaining rings (unused hardware components), linked with your choice of: bronze, with a copper earwires; stainless steel jump rings, with steel earwires (shown); or brass jump rings, with brass earwires. Lightweight, durable and elegant, with that ineffable air of technogeekery; a true fashion statement for every mad scientist.

Starting Bid: $5

Notes:

If you prefer a different style of earrings, I could substitute a custom version of any of the earring styles seen in my shop here for this one. Please contact me at wraptillion at gmail dot com for details or for any other questions; not all styles are available in all materials, but most can be made the way you want them.

I will pay worldwide shipping for the winning bidder of these earrings, or hand-deliver at WisCon (as long as I have your specifications two weeks before the conference). I can ship them two weeks after you send me your Paypal donation verification and your custom specifications.

My custom necklace offer can be found here.
My custom bracelet offer can be found here.

Thanks for bidding!

Offer: Custom Carbon Steel Retaining Ring Bracelet

Item Name & Description: Custom Carbon Steel Retaining Ring Bracelet (with accompanying story fragment)

The next morning, Wraptillion blearily returned to the wreckage of her laboratory. The cleaners would be arriving soon; no point starting a new secret invention until repairs had been made. Sadly, she sifted through the ruins, ashes pouring through the fingers of her blackened leather gloves, until she spotted a dull gleam among the debris. A manic light shown from her eyes as she caught up the last bag of carbon steel rings, pulling the pliers from her toolbelt...

Custom bracelet made from matte black carbon steel retaining rings (unused hardware components), linked with your choice of: bronze, with a copper-plated clasp; stainless steel jump rings, with a silver-colored clasp (shown); or brass jump rings, with a brass clasp. Lightweight, durable and elegant, with that ineffable air of technogeekery; a true statement piece for every mad scientist. I can make this whatever length you need it to be.

I redid this amulet necklace to make it longer and include some Flourite beads as well. Here's the old post. The only thing I changed was to make it longer and add some Flourite beads. Bidding starts at 40$.

Last Minute Addition: 3 Goodie Boxes of Betty Boop and Popeye goodies, courtesy of my workplace.

You know how fashion magazines have sample closets full of Prada and Gucci? Comic syndicates have sample closets of Betty Boop and Popeye. With permission, I raided our sample closet and put together a few goody boxes.

Goodie Box 1: Popeye Goodies

Goodie Box 2: Betty Boop Goodies/ Pink

Goodie Box 3: Betty Boop Goodies/ Black

Starting Bid for each package: $15. If any of them go above $50, I will also include a fuzzy pink Betty Boop bathrobe. I have two of these, so if they ALL somehow go above $50, I'll have to come up with something else for the third.

Notes: I will ship these out sometime next week. Each goody box fits into a USPS Priority Mail box and I will happily shop anywhere in the US free of charge. If you are outside the US, I will work out an arrangement with you, but I am still happy to pay the $10.70 that I would pay for domestic shipping.

Everything is clean, unopened, and unused. I can check ingredients or fabrics, but not all clothing and cosmetics are labeled, as they are production samples, so I may not be able to answer!
