SHINE, COCONUT MOON, was listed on the Smithsonian's "Notable Books for Children" list and made the New York Public Library's "Top 100 Books for Teens - Stuff for the Teen Age" list. It was also nominated as a Best Book for Young Adults and the online CYBILS award in its debut year. JAZZ IN LOVE released in January of this year and has garnered wonderful reviews from notable industry resources as well as teen bloggers. Both books are being used in high school and college courses in both the U.S. and Canada. I'd be happy to sign each book generically for the winner, or personalize them with a note. Thank you for reading.

Brush the wandering hedgehog by the fire

Offer: blog post

Item Name & Description: blog post on topic of your choice (on my main Dreamwidth account, xposted to LJ). Current page there gives cloud of my most-used tags, and the sticky post at the top has links to my archetypal/generic posts for a taster of style and content. Full tag list. Interests here

Starting Bid: $1

Notes: I'd do my best to deliver within a reasonable time (3 months?) a post of reasonable length (depending on topic, 500-1000 words). I watch hardly any current TV, so topics relating to that would not be a good match. I can't at present commit to anything that would require undertaking significant amounts of research (i.e. of the Victorian nipple rings level) or major amounts of reading/re-reading.
