Auction, WisCon status update

Hi all—sorry for the silence on the comm. As soon as the biggest rush of post-auction work here finished, I was pretty thoroughly occupied by my, you know, paying day job.

This year we raised a hair over $8,500 (approximately $7,000 from the auction and the rest from donations, including some very generous anonymous ones). We received requests for assistance from 18 people and are currently planning to help 14 attend WisCon. (Priority was given to those who had not been assisted before and who had lower expenses.) That's one more than last year, and, to my pleasure, it includes our first outside-North-America person.

I'm also glad to say that I have a couple of lines on logos for T-shirts etc., which should be ready for a WisCon debut.

Finally, three people haven't paid for their auctions yet. I know that LJ has been really flaky about notifications, so nothing negative is implied or should be inferred, but talitha78, idhren24, and tesseract26, please check behind the cut for details on the auctions you've won.

If there are other problems with an auction of any sort, please leave a screened comment on this post or e-mail me (knepveu at steelypips dot org) and I will do my best to work things out.

Thanks to you all for making Con or Bust such a success this year! I appreciate everyone's help and contributions more than I can say.
