Offer: signed copies of Desideria, The Winter Triptych, and Demon Lovers and Other Difficulties

Item Name and Description: a signed/inscribed copy of each of my 3 books -- Desideria, The Winter Triptych, and Demon Lovers and Other Difficulties.

About Desideria, Booklist says: Kornher-Stace’s exceptionally well-crafted debut plays out in a byzantine milieu of madhouses and melodramatic theater in an unnamed seventeenth-century European metropolis. When a woman is found lying outside a burning building, her memory mislaid, and her lips sewn shut, her only recourse for shelter is the church-run Amaranth asylum. Protected from abusive wardens by a resourceful fellow inmate, she slowly recaptures her identity as Ange St. Loup, a rising actress in one of the city’s less-reputable theaters. As her life in the colorful Lady Minerva troupe comes back to her, however, Ange must grapple with the accusation that she is both insane and a murderess. Yet her greatest challenge awaits her in the person of Lady Minerva’s unseen puppet master, a shadowy criminal mastermind known only as the Specialist, who subtly manipulates Ange’s environment in a scheme bent on molding her into the city’s greatest actress. In richly textured, atmospheric prose, Kornher-Stace delivers a spellbinding tale of deception, betrayal, and the darker possibilities of playacting.

Demon Lovers is the first and thus far only Goblin Fruit chapbook. It sold out of two printings and there are only a couple of copies left anywhere.

The Winter Triptych is one-half of the vanguard of Papaveria's Wonder Tales series, with drop-dead gorgeous cover art by Oliver Hunter. Lots of review blurbs on the link above.

Hopefully a higher % next year, but this is what I can do now.

Offer: Custom hand-knitted hat

Item Name & Description: Custom hand-knitted hat

Starting Bid: $20

Notes: Offer is for a hand-knitted hat, colors and pattern to be determined upon consultation with the winning bidder. Samples of my previous work can be seen here. I am a reasonably experienced knitter, and I am happy to do 2-color work, cables, or stripes as desired. Knitted item will be mailed from the US to anywhere in the world within 2 months after we have agreed on a yarn and pattern, for hats similar to those in my flickr album. More complicated hats may require 3 months. Winner should specify desired hat circumference (IN INCHES) and general color palette (ie. pinks/yellows/pastels, blue/terracotta/earth tones, black/green/bold tones). Exact colors will depend on availability at yarn store and/or in my stash. Default yarn is 100% merino wool in a worsted or bulky weight, but I'm willing to work in other fibers as desired. PLEASE SPECIFY ANY KNOWN FIBER ALLERGIES or yarn preferences; please add an additional $5 to your final con-or-bust donation if you want some super-fancy silk-cashmere-angora-vervet blend yarn or select an expensive/difficult to obtain pattern.
