Originally published at Con or Bust by Tucker McKinnon. Please comment there ( comment(s)).

Item Name & Description: The Lattimore & Grene / University of Chicago edition of the complete extant Greek tragedies: seven plays by Aeschylus in two volumes, seven plays by Sophocles in two volumes, and nineteen plays by Euripides in five volumes. Sophocles I (the Oedipus plays) and Aeschylus II (the non-Oresteia plays) are stated second editions, revised in the early 1990s; the others were originally published in the late 1950s.

All volumes are slim trade paperbacks, printed in the late 1990s. The spines are tight and uncracked, but the covers show some mild wear and scuffing. These copies were used in college courses: Prometheus Bound has some highlighting, Hecuba some marginal notes.
