Bidding is open; keep posting auction items!

Originally posted at Con or Bust by Kate Nepveu. All comments must be made there.

Thanks to the magic of scheduled posts, I’m happy to say that bidding is now open in Con or Bust’s 2015 auction! Check out the 2015 auction tags or the Google Docs index to find awesome things to bid on, especially things that may have been posted early.

Be sure to check back during the auction–I will be posting more donations in a day or two, when the day job gives me a second to breathe, and I’m expecting some pretty cool stuff from other people.

And if you have something to offer, please fill out the form on the Submit an Auction page! You don’t have to be a published author to offer something. Maybe you have a set of books, or a piece of jewelry, or a fountain pen in good condition that you’re just never going to use any more? Maybe you have a talent for wardrobe consultation, or calligraphy, or baking, or writing insightful reviews? Maybe you’d like to share a care package of awesome things from where you live now? All of those would be wonderful.

You can post items through the end of the auction, Sunday, May 3, 2015 at 4:00 p.m. Eastern (time zone conversions, countdown), though of course items posted extremely close to the end of the auction might not get as much notice.

If you have questions, please check the Auction Information Page, and feel free to comment if your question remains unanswered. Thanks!

Signed copy of ARCHIVIST WASP by Nicole Kornher-Stace

ARCHIVIST WASPItem Name & Description: Signed trade paperback copy of ARCHIVIST WASP by Nicole Kornher-Stace, forthcoming May 12 from Small Beer Press’s YA imprint Big Mouth House.

Wasp’s job is simple. Hunt ghosts. And every year she has to fight to remain Archivist. Desperate and alone, she strikes a bargain with the ghost of a supersoldier. She will go with him on his underworld hunt for the long-long ghost of his partner and in exchange she will find out more about his pre-apocalyptic world than any Archivist before her. And there is much to know. After all, Archivists are marked from birth to do the holy work of a goddess. They’re chosen. They’re special. Or so they’ve been told for four hundred years.

Starred review from Kirkus calls it “Difficult, provocative, and unforgettable—the most dangerous kind of fiction.”

More info at the publisher’s website.

Starting Bid: $10

Notes: ships wherever!
