Four hours of project management services from Changeset Consulting

Originally posted at Con or Bust by Sumana Harihareswara. All comments must be made there.

Form 4 Entry 128 Fileupload 1Item Name and Description: Changeset Consulting is Sumana Harihareswara, WisCongoer and software executive. Changeset provides project management services, such as:

* writing project plans and roadmaps

* prioritizing new work

* responding to customer requests

* assessing and improving onboarding procedures

* writing grant applications

Example: Harihareswara worked on the WisCon web application in 2011. The volunteers who develop a web application to manage the scifi convention WisCon had a jumble of bug reports and feature requests in BaseCamp, Google Code, old emails and text notes. Over a few months in 2011, Harihareswara consolidated and organized those TODOs into a prioritized queue, and kept the team on one page via BaseCamp updates and a weekly conference call.

More past clients and ideas for services are available at https://changeset.nyc/index.html . Harihareswara has worked with volunteer groups, media, nonprofits, open source projects, and individuals.

Four hours of Changeset’s services can clear your desk and give you renewed momentum for your project.

Form 4 Entry 128 Fileupload 2Starting Bid: USD$200

Other Notes: Work begins with a free initial half-hour consultation via phone or videochat in June 2016. The initial consultation will not count against your four hours of work. Changeset will then send you a work plan document, and upon your approval, begin the work. Barring emergencies in your life or in Harihareswara’s, work will complete by 31 July 2016, and probably much sooner.

Harihareswara lives in New York City. Changeset usually works remotely via email, IRC, VoIP, bugtrackers, wikis, and other tools you already use. If you’re in New York City, the initial consultation can take place in person.

"Lost Steersman" handmade journal by Rosemary Kirstein

Originally posted at Con or Bust by Rosemary Kirstein. All comments must be made there.

Form 4 Entry 132 Fileupload 1Item Name and Description: The paper inside this blank journal is handmade by me, from recycled printouts of the original manuscript for The Lost Steersman. There are random words from the book visible embedded within the paper, as decorative inclusions. The paper has a rough surface and deckle edge.

The journal measures 6.5 x 4.75 inches (16.51 x 12.06cm) and has a marble-paper cover, bark-paper end papers, and an old silk ribbon tie-closure with a gold-trimmed snail shell charm.

The paper does not work well with ball-point pen, but is good with ink, felt-tip, and colored pencils. I provide one loose sheet, so you can test your media.

Also included: a copy of the paperback version of The Lost Steersman.

Starting Bid: $20

Form 4 Entry 132 Fileupload 2Shipping: I will ship anywhere in the world.

Other Notes: Please Note: for destinations south of the equator, I will use the least expensive shipping method available, which might take several weeks in transit.
